I really like the red and blue “08″ logo. The blending on the colors blending is a clever idea but the winner definitely stands head and shoulders above the rest to me.

Part 2 of the interview

So Boston.com is running this amazing 3 part set showcasing photography from events that impacted the world in both positive and negative ways. This is seriously some amazing stuff that needs to be seen and shared. Sometimes through schedules the days and hours just fly by and this feature is a really good way to reflect on 08. Another skull print, finished this one up earlier in the week and getting it ready now to get printed. Im gonna get a small number of shirts and hoodys run so if you’re interested let me know and I’ll get some extra. I’ve always loved old tattoo art and especially skulls, I have an idea for 4 more skull prints so this isnt the last of the dead heads you’ll see from me hehe.  Before you ask Black Bart was a very famous pirate who was killed in battle and buried at seas. So yea im happy with how it came out, most importantly I learned a lot doing this and thats all you can really ask for when you work. Up next is a little tribute I’m working on for my good friends over in Iraq, more on that later

Man I am such a sucker for art figures like these,  I wanna pick up the big king ken from their last series if I can find somewhere that sells it. Im gonna grab these minis though to decorate the desk. These come out in a few days in november so be on the look out if your into this stuff too.

Raine magazines 4th issue is ready to launch, this one was a douzy. I think its been a solid 4 months of back and forth on this one at this point with finalizing it up but its finally here. We’re launching the new website along with the print and web versions of the magazine. Its been crazy making all of the content for both the print and web versions (at two different sizes none the less) along with designing the new website and content for the websites.  But its done, just going over some final bugs and we launch. Lots of cool stuff planned for it that Ill post about as soon as I can.

Now about my website, its something that I have been without for almost a year now. Im the worst when it comes to making sites for myself, Im never happy with the design and by the time i do settle on one I end up redesigning it before I finish it haha. So Im using wordpress and forcing myself to get something up. Pretty happy with it so far. Ill be putting up the portfolio section later today and adding stuff as I go during the week.

Let’s see what else? I laid out the family album finally. I tossed an idead around with my uncle who loves photography and the plan is to get all of these pictures of our families (bout a million cousins man, latinos ya tu sabes haha) but I mainly want to get this done for my grandmother. She means a lot to me and has always been extremely supportive of what I do, the goal is to get this down by christmas which means its gonna get tight but hopefully I can knock it out.
