Adam Sandler Speed Painting Finding free time freelancing is always a wierd thing when its personal art time. So a few months back I started practicing speed painting. Usually after something inspired me to create (hence why a few are actors). This was my first speed paint. Its Adam Sandler in Reign O'er Me. Took about 6 hours, lacking the speed i know hehe.






Rosario Dawson Speed Painting I've probably painted Rosario more than anything else I've done. This one took about 4-5 hours using a reference.

Sweeney Todd Speed Painting Absolutely LOVED this movie. Im a sucker for Burton and Depp so after watching this I had to put some inspiration on digi canvas.

Black Bart's Treasure Shirt Design This is the second design in a series of 5 T-Shirt designs that I am designing. All 5 of the shirts are skull inspired designs. This one being loosley inspired by the pirate Black Bart. Took about 6-7 hours to complete.

Full on Ammo Shirt Design The first design I made for the skull series and my first serious attempt at this style of illustration. I've always had this style of shading while doing graffiti growing up and I've been trying to get some tattoo/rock style illustrations done. This was inspired by the Gun's and Roses logo.

Shirt Print - AK FLOW Design 1 My first painting to not use any references. This one probably taught me the most, it also was the first painting to make me man up and limit my layer use. It was fun being able to just paint over stuff that was not working. I plan to revisit this character down the road once I get better. Loosely inspired by Battlestar galactica and Heavenly Sword.

2 Day's 'Til Sunday Surreal Poster Had a project coming up that required a lot of photomanipulation that I was feeling a little nervous about so I wanted to get into the flow of things. Started just freestyling on a large canvas and came up with this. A mix of painting (clouds trees, water), photos, and 3d.

Watchmen Niteowl Speed Painting I am not a comic book guy, I've never gotten into the hobby of reading them. I used to buy them as a kid mainly for inspiration. I would sit down in from of my tv and redraw all kinds of awesome super heroes. Recent at a friends insistance I picked up Watchmen and devoured it. Amazing read. This took about 5 hours and included the full helm and chest.

Air Zoom concept This was made in Illustrator a couple years ago (05) and was just a fun thing to do to get better aquainted with Illustrator. Everything made from scratch. The idea was to create a shoe using my favorite aspects of NIKE design and stitching.
